Dr. Javate joined our staff in April of 2004. When asked what she
thought of her experience since joining Family Health
Associates, this is what she had to say:
“I came to Lebanon in search of something more fulfilling than what
I had in the practice I established in Los Angeles. In April
2004, I joined Family Health Associates. I found the adjustment from metro L.A. to
the far smaller setting of Lebanon wasn’t difficult in the
least. In fact, I soon found that Family Health Associates
maintained a higher standard of care and overall professionalism
than I had ever been exposed to. It was such a well-organized
practice that the long adjustment period which I anticipated
never actually materialized. I credit the doctors and staff with
making my entry into this new world with FHA such an easy affair
because they were not only willing, but also eager to give
me encouragement and support.
In July 2005 I was given the opportunity to become a full
partner. Of course, I accepted without any reservations.
If
you are a physician seeking the warmth which a smaller community
has to offer and yet also demands professional challenge,
growth, and support, Family Health Associates is a place you
must come and see for yourself. It offers exactly what you are
looking for.” |

The slogan in Lebanon's Chamber of Commerce glossy booklet, "Our
Town,
Your Town," says a lot about the atmosphere here. There
are a variety of activities in Lebanon that are available in
towns across Mid-Missouri. Home-style entertainment and
comforts aren't all that's available in Lebanon though. Our public education system is accredited with distinction.
The economy in Lebanon ranks among the top 15 communities
statewide for manufacturing employment. With 60 plants
that employ more than 5,000 people, Lebanon has 40% more
industry than the average American town. We have satellite campuses for Missouri State University and
Drury University. The cost of living and median incomes
here make it a financially comfortable place to live and enjoy.
Age demographics show that the highest percentage of our
population are between the ages of 20 and 44, we're a
young-at-heart town that is focused on the future.
At
Family Health Associates, being focused on the future means we
actively participate in the happenings of the medical community. Since the
establishment of our clinic, we have paved the way for other
medical professionals to establish their practices and thrive.
Lebanon is home to physician specialists practicing orthopedics,
internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, family
practice, emergency medicine, anesthesiology/radiology,
nephrology, neurology and dermatology. St. John's
Hospital-Lebanon had major expansions in 1999 and 2003 and
another is planned to provide an outpatient cancer center.
As physicians, we couldn't ask for a more supportive
medical community.
When you join Family Health Associates' team, you become a
part of a professional group that encourages new ideas.
You have the opportunity here to shape your own future, at your
own pace in a locale that quickly becomes "Your Town."
