Dr. Javate joined our staff in April of 2004.  When asked what she thought of her experience since joining Family Health Associates, this is what she had to say:

“I came to Lebanon in search of something more fulfilling than what I had in the practice I established in Los Angeles.  In April 2004, I joined Family Health Associates.  I found the adjustment from metro L.A. to the far smaller setting of Lebanon wasn’t difficult in the least. In fact, I soon found that Family Health Associates maintained a higher standard of care and overall professionalism than I had ever been exposed to. It was such a well-organized practice that the long adjustment period which I anticipated never actually materialized. Family Health Associates

The Family Health Associates' building is a 7,800 square foot building.  Built in 2000 to accommodate the rapidly expanding practice and situate us on the newly constructed hospital center's campus.  We have an on-site x-ray and lab.  The treatment room is well-equipped and prepped at all times.  Twelve patient rooms enable our physicians to see as many patients as possible with negligible waiting time.  The office staff includes a billing specialist as well as a full-time business manager who handles all human resources and accounting.  To assist needy patients, we enlisted the support of a pharmacy assistant to ensure they acquire necessary medications at minimal cost.

St. John's Mercy Medical Center

With access to the facilities at the medical center we are able to fully utilize their state-of-the-art services and equipment.  In 2003 they completed a major expansion of their facilities which enables them to house 48 inpatient beds.  In 2005 a $3 million addition is planned to house additional private and semi-private patient rooms and includes plans for an outpatient cancer center.  Currently, the equipment we utilize through the hospital campus includes:
